Calgary startups headed to Startupfest 2019
Members of the Calgary startup community are heading to Startupfest in Montreal July 9 - 12, 2019! We're excited to highlight several local companies who will participate in the Calgary tent that will be located in the Startup Village during the conference.
Congratulations to the selected Calgary companies:
Bootkik is a platform that allows business experts, workshop owners and keynote speakers create tangible guides that break down business outcomes into sub-tasks.
CMNGD (COMMONGOOD) employs people facing poverty and homelessness barriers through a commercial laundry service tailored to restaurants and spas. Currently the model is expanding across Canada, while reducing their environmental footprint - making good more common, together.
Goodlawyer is a legal services marketplace that provides the easiest way for people to conveniently and transparently access lawyers.
Neuraura unlocks the brain with sensors, hardware and software for a range of research and clinical applications including an epilepsy surgery system.
RoboGarden is a game-based suite, teaching coding for all skill levels from beginner to professional.
VeloGuide is an on-demand ride and guide app/website connecting travelling cyclists with local VeloGuides and bikes to experience destinations by road and trail. We have grown to 1800 VeloGuides in 70 countries and 650 cities and have a proven concept that is ripe for scale and disruption.
Finalists were selected through an application process and video interview and were selected based on their traction to date.
