Dan Thompson, Product Development & Operations at Left Coast Performance
Dan is the lead product developer and operations manager of Left Coast Performance an E-commerce brand in the health industry. After selling his first e-commerce brand he joined Left Coast Performance as a partner in 2017. In the two years since joining Left Coast Performance he has grown it from $2mm in revenue to $5.5mm in revenue while improving the businesses' net profitability.  He is the owner of Salt Water Digital a marketing agency with expertise in Facebook advertising, Google Advertising and of course Amazon Brand Building.

Sam Woods, Vice President at JORI International 

Sam Woods is the Vice President of JORI International, a Calgary based logistics company focused on serving small and medium sized Canadian businesses that are importing and exporting globally. Founded in 1992, JORI now has 43 employees across five locations in Canada. JORI offers customs brokerage, trade consulting, and global freight forwarding services. JORI works with companies who understand that logistics and trade compliance should be a competitive advantage for their businesses, rather than a necessary cost of business.

Sam began his career with JORI in 2005 as a summer student and has continued his career in international trade ever since. He holds an accounting degree from the University of Calgary, he is a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), and holds his freight forwarding designation with the Canadian Institute of Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA).

Directions to Terrace View Room

The Terrace View Room is located on the fifth floor of the Global Business Centre. The Global Business Centre is located at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre.

Please enter through the North Calgary TELUS Convention Centre lobby (located at 136 8th Ave SE) , turn left at the customer service desk. From the customer service desk you will walk to the right of the escalator and walk straight ahead to the elevator on the right hand side. Take the elevator to the fifth floor to reach the Terrace View Room.

Directions from the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre Parkade:
The Calgary Parking Authority runs a 433-stall underground parkade (Lot 60) at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre (located at 727 – 1st Street SE). From the parkade you will take the elevator to the lobby. Once off the elevator, turn right and walk around the customer service desk. From the customer service desk you will walk to the right of the escalator and walk straight ahead to the elevator on the right hand side. Take the elevator to the fifth floor to reach the Terrace View Room.
