This event is hosted by the Hunter Hub for Entrepreneurial Thinking.
The Schulich School of Engineering Department of Chemical & Petroleum Engineering’s CREATE ME2 team in collaboration with the Hunter Hub for Entrepreneurial Thinking are hosting an Innovation Fair: Emerging Technology for Clean Energy Solutions on August 30th, 2019 at the Hunter Hub from 9:30 am to 4 pm.
This is an exciting opportunity to learn about clean energy innovations emerging from the University of Calgary’s students and researchers.
Pitches will range from energy storage, fuel cells, fuel synthesis (e.g. CO2 electrolysis) applications, to technologies for environmental remediation, enhancing the sustainability of conventional energy resources among other clean energy solutions.
Alongside the pitch competition – speakers from the University of Calgary, University of Waterloo and Alberta Innovates will share their expertise and resources to support innovation in Canada’s sustainable energy sectors.
Attendees can expect to connect with leading researchers and innovators reshaping energy sectors across Canada and inventing solutions that are crucial for our environmental health and survival of future generations.
Students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members are welcome to attend.
