Lunch Without Lunch @ TELUS Spark

  • TELUS Spark 220 Saint Georges Drive Northeast Calgary, AB (map)

Hosted by Rainforest AB

Curious what's happening in the tech industry in Calgary?

Join Rainforest Alberta Lunch Without Lunch to hear about the players, events and news that are making Calgary’s innovation ecosystem thrive. This weekly meeting is a regular check on the pulse of the community, open to people from any age, wage, or stage of company.

Rainforest Alberta is making space for the tech industry in the province through opening conversations around culture, leadership, and other focus areas. When someone asks "why bother building a tech industry in Alberta?" We ask "why not?"

From June-August LWOL is on its summer tour, visiting the different spaces in Calgary where innovation happens. *Make sure to check the location each week!*

When you THINK science, what do you FEEL?

That lovely building that glows at night along the Deerfoot is Calgary’s new science centre. Actually, it was new in 2011. Nine years later, still many Calgarians have never visited. While it is much loved, Spark wants to dial things up. The new CEO, one of the co-founders of Beakerhead, Dr. Mary Anne Moser is asking for your help in developing the future of Spark.

The Spark team looks forward to hearing your feedback at or after the event!
