The CIED WILD Thinking Course

  • The Nucleus 100 6 Avenue Southwest Calgary, AB, T2G 2C4 Canada (map)

Hosted by the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurial Development (CIED) and supported by Rainforest Alberta and Calgary Economic and Development.

Leave your normal routines and enter into a space with other people where free-range, imaginative and reality-based thinking gets done together. Using an integrated thinking approach (including creative, critical, systems and computational thinking) we will explore a variety of topics.

The experience is driven through the central theme of building competence in understanding the way the world works and the problems we encounter. This learning path avoids traps, diagnoses fake news and builds powerful solutions. There is no limit to what can be learned or accomplished.

Our vision is to make current and future Calgary entrepreneurs the best they can be by providing them the knowledge and skills to meet a world of change and possibility, head-on. We collaborate with leading providers of entrepreneurial training including University of Calgary, Hunter Center, D-school and Innovate Calgary to provide specific training for those people who don’t have easy access to this type of education.

The curriculum is designed to inform and inspire those beginning the entrepreneurial journey and to augment the modern skills of those already on their journey.
